Create a blog

This is a special for the hubpages community only. Lot’s of people have been asking how to create a blog and build websites. So I have put up a website that will eventually contain all of the information that any newbie will need to create a blog and make it a success on the internet. Right now the site contains instructional videos on how to set up your own blog on your very own hosting account. I have always felt that it is imperative that you have your own domain name and your own hosting. That way only you will be responsible for the decisions you make about your business. You won’t have the site hosting your blog dictating what you can and cannot do with your business. There is also a cool video about 3 sites where you can find good cheap domain names.

I have to warn you not to watch the first few videos and run out and buy a domain name, set up hosting and create a blog. Put some thought into the niche that you want to blog about and wait until I put the video up about finding niches before you make any decisions about your site. The most successful blogs are niche specific. Yes you can build a successful blog by writing about your ordinary mundane life and everyday activities, but you better have above average writing skills and a great angle that nobody else has used before. But if you are like me and have very average writing skills and have a hard time trying to make average daily chores seem sensational, then your best bet is to choose a niche that you either know something about or want to learn about that will keep your interest over a long period of time.

Believe me I do know that everyone wants to know about building free traffic and creating a long term business, so I am also going to put up some really cool tips about just that. No not some crazy black hat instant traffic crap, only good purely white hat SEO and link building techniques that will lead to long term success. So if you are one of the thousands of people who are really ready to build a long term successful Internet business then head over to create a blog and start checking out the first few videos. You will have to register and log into the site to see any of the information provided there and I did that for a couple of reasons. First and most importantly is to reduce the cost of bandwidth from the videos, and second because I know there are going to be some people who just won’t register at a site, even to get free information. If you are one of those people then don’t even bother clicking on the link, there is nothing there for you. That site is strictly for real people who are ready to succeed, and ready to create a blog or other great Internet business.
