Brighter-Paramore

My favorite song is Brighter - Paramore. This song has so much energy and it is unique. Hayley Williams (lead singer) has a powerful voice. She makes it sound effortless but to me I would have to scream just to get the energy in her voice. I like the guitar solo in the beginning and when the drum adds to the solo and it seems up-beat but then it slows down when she begins to sing. I think the lyrics are interesting because they saw “You shine Brighter than anyone” but a person can’t really shine. Although when you really like someone or look up to them they do shine in your eyes. So I like the lyrics even more because they relate to me. This song is on their first c.d. Everything We Know Is Falling. It is the best song on that c.d. even better than “Emergency” and “Pressure”. but those are the second and third best songs on the album.

My band teacher says one of the key points of a good performance is shaking the lines. Which means changing dynamics or volume. Like going up and down from soft to loud. I don’t really notice it is songs especially hip-hop songs but I am starting to notice it more with this band. The best example is Brighter - Paramore. Hayley Williams does exactly what my band teacher tells us to do, she shakes the lines. This song goes from loud to soft and that is what makes it interesting. And she makes it seem like no big deal. Which is another thing my band teacher says to do, is to makes it seem effortless but really be working your butt at it. They haven’t made a music video for this song, but that would be great if they did!

Paramore just keeps getting better and better. They impress me every time I hear a new song. I am going back to their old c.d. to listen to all their songs because so far every song is awesome! I really like their new c.d. too. Its called Riot. The best song on that album is “Misery Business” and that is also the first song I heard by them. It made me start liking Paramore. They seem like a happy band! And I like when artists or bands seem happy about what they do. So far not only all the songs are good but so are their music videos. I have liked all their music videos that I have seen so far. Overall this is a really cool song and a really cool band. Make sure you check out Brighter - Paramore
